The six Paths are here, and I'm celebrating!
Hello, my friend!
I have some fabulous news to share with you! Remember when I mentioned that I was experimenting with a new way to explore Between Realms, called Paths?
Well ... all six paths are now live!
And holy effing buckets ... what an adventure this has been. 🤣
I've spent more than a month going back through over 90 pieces of writing, sorting them, creating an entirely new tagging system, and finding the connections between stories that were often written months apart.
There were moments when I wondered what the hell I'd gotten myself into, because this turned out to be a much bigger undertaking than I imagined. But now that I can see it all coming together? I'm SO happy I followed the idea!!
So, what's changed?
Between Realms now has seven Realms and six curated Paths to help you explore the library.
The Realms gather writing around different parts of being human: Aliveness, Self-Trust, Expression, Safety, Becoming, Love & Connection, and Abundance.
The Paths take things a wee bit further. Each one begins with a question you might recognize from your own life and brings together seven pieces that explore it from different angles.
And here's what you can explore now:
- My old life is ending, and I can't see what's next.
- My life is fine. Why don't I feel alive in it?
- I love deeply, but I keep losing myself.
- Is this intuition or am I making this up?
- I want to be seen, but being seen doesn't feel safe.
- Why is it so hard for me to receive?
Why I wanted to create these
Something I love about writing is that a story can mean one thing to me when I'm living it and something entirely different to you when you encounter it.
You might read about an experience I've had and recognize a pattern in your own relationships. A dream might make you question something you've believed for years. Or a reflection about money, safety, or being seen might open up a possibility you hadn't considered before.
And sometimes, when we're right in the middle of something, we don't even know what we're looking for. So, I wanted to make it easier for you to arrive here with whatever's happening in your life and find a doorway into the writing that might speak to it.
That's why the Paths often begin with questions.
You can recognize something you're experiencing, follow the pieces that interest you, and see what connections or new perspectives emerge along the way.
And because the Realms overlap, you may discover that a question about love leads you into self-trust, or something about abundance brings up an unexpected conversation about safety.
And oh how I LOVE that about being human! There's always another layer to explore. 👁️
A wee note about access: Everyone is welcome to browse the seven Realms and six Paths to discover the topics, questions, and stories we're exploring. Selected writings are available to free subscribers through The Threshold, while the full library and complete Paths are included with Inner Temple and Keeper memberships.
And please remember, there's no reading order, homework, or expectation to finish anything. Follow whatever catches your curiosity!
And one more thing I really want to say ...
There are now more than 50 of you here in Between Realms. I know that might sound like a small number in the grand scheme of the internet, but to me? It's absolutely extraordinary to me. 😭
The fact that more than 50 humans have chosen to receive these writings and explore these wild and beautiful questions with me ... I don't even know how to express what that means.
I'm so damn proud of what Between Realms is becoming. I truly love creating this work, especially the pieces that get a little bizarre, magical, confronting, or send me down a rabbit hole I never saw coming.
And knowing there are people on the other side of these pages who genuinely want to be here makes the whole experience even more meaningful. So, thank YOU for being one of them!! Thank you for your curiosity, your openness, and for giving this little world I've been building a place in your life.
